It is published bimonthly February, April, June, August,October and December and will be available for download to yourtablet through the ISSF NEWS app.The Olympic program of the Shooting Sport consists in 15different events. Olympians compete in nine men’s events and sixwomen’s events in three different disciplines, with five eventseach for rifle, pistol and shotgun shooting.Official ISSF competitions also include the ISSF World CupSeries, the ISSF Shotgun World Championships, the ISSF RunningTarget World Championship and the ISSF World Championship in allevents, which also feature 300m rifle events and 25m Center Fireand Standard Pistol events, as well as junior events.The ISSF World Cup Series is articulated in 4 different WorldCup stages in Rifle and Pistol events and in 4 different stages inShotgun events. The World Cup stages are organized by nationalmember federations by appointment of the International ShootingSport Federation every year, and usually take place in differentcountries between March and July. Combined World Cup stages, whereShotgun, Rifle and Pistol competitions are shot, can beorganized.ISSF World Cup Finals are organized every year, as a conclusionof the ISSF World Cup Series. Usually, two separate World CupFinals for Shotgun events and Rifle & Pistol events areorganized. At the end of the World Cup Series, the best eightshooters in each event with the highest qualification values willqualify out of the ISSF World Cup Series. Within one event, only amaximum of two shooters per nation will be permitted to compete inthe World Cup Final. Next to the best eight, wild cards are grantedto the Title Defenders, and, in the years of the Olympic Games andof the World Championships, to the three medalists in eachevent.
